[Producing Method]: The product, as an important green organic pigment, is obtained when PCBs-free copper phthalocyanine is chlorinated at high temperature by passing chlorine gas through a mixture with a low melting point and then undergoes further treatment.
[Description]: The product has an appearance of dark green-colored uniform powder. It is insoluble in water and organic solvents, but soluble in strong sulfuric acid and chlorosulfonic acid. It remains stable to relative high temperature up to 150 degree C in the air and 250 degree C in resin, and never sublimates.
[Characteristics]: The product is rated 8 in light fastness, and also has good fastness of heat, acids and alkalis.
[Usages]: Phthalocyanine Green G is widely used in printing ink, plastics, rubber, coating.
